| Pack on the move option. It allows to finish the packing cycle even if the vehicle starts to move, instead of stopping the mechanism when a gear is engaged. In case of closed system, all packing movements can be carried out. In case of open system, only movements with sweeper in the upper position can be carried out. PTO has to be able to work out of neutral position, otherwise it will not be able to finish the cycle with a gear engaged. PAY ATTENTION THAT: • "Pack on the move" option has to be validated with the chassis specifications (engine torque) and its suitability has to be studied case by case. This checking is important for all types of chassis, but a special attention has to be paid for GNC chassis. • Engine stall could happen depending on driver skills to start drive when also engine torque is requested from compactation, mainly when chassis engine torque is in the limit to support POM compactation AND start driving torque demand. CONDITIONS FOR POTM OPTION: NOT AVAILABLE with IVECO chassis. NOT AVAILABLE with manual gearbox. Continuous PTO preferred. In case PTO is not continuous, refer to NC0510. |
